Sarah Hartman, LMHC
In 2012 I was graduating from my undergraduate program at Daemen College and was about to begin my journey into the field of mental health in graduate school. Over 10 years later I look back and reflect on how much my love, passion, and understanding for this field has grown.
While my schooling gave me the platform to start growing off of, my experiences have been the real educators in getting me to where I am at today. It has challenged my worldview and how the world of mental health operates. Today, with the many lessons I have learned from these experiences, I strive to offer a safe and collaborative space for my clients. I recognize there is no perfect or cookie cutter treatment. I strongly believe therapy should be eclectic and a space where the client has the agency to express their needs while the clinician supports, provides thoughtful reflection, and helps build the clients own therapeutic toolbox.

Breathwork, Craniosacral Therapy, & Yoga
I am a 200 hour Certified Yoga Teacher. I received my Yoga training at my local studio, Love In Motion Yoga. I enjoy integrating yoga postures and movements into my somatic work as a therapist. Movement plus the power of breath is an incredible healing intervention.
I am certified in CranioSacral Therapy 1; CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. This is an amazing somatic intervention to help with nervous system regulation!
